Promoting The Economic Welfare of Fisher Folks

• We link the fisher folks to fish processing factories where they supply fish before it’s processed for export.
• We negotiate with fish processors to ensure that the local fishermen get a better and stable price for the fish they supply
• Sensitizing fisher folks about diversification by encouraging them to invest in other businesses for additional income
• We sensitize fisher folks about saving and help them to start up OR join saving schemes
• We train and carryout capacity building for fisher folks to enable them engage in other income generating activities
• We help fisher folks to access financial support from banks and other financial institutions
