Health promotion in the fishing communities

• We sensitize the fisher folks about HIV/AIDS and encourage them to go for testing, care and prevention services
• Creating linkages where we connect fisher folks to health care organizations for ongoing access to health care services
• We sensitize people in the fishing communities about community and personal hygiene to prevent diseases
• We carryout community outreaches in collaboration with health care organizations to bring services closer to our people
• We sensitize the fisher folks about proven and new HIV prevention strategies that are appropriate in their setting being a key population
• We lobby government and development partners to support health care in the fishing communities
