Engaging other Stakeholders in the Fishing Industry to Promote Sustainable Fishing and Security

• We work with fish processors to regulate catching of immature fish. We have an agreement with them not to accept immature fish from any fisherman
• We work with government departments like the fisheries ministry to enforce the fisheries policies
• We work with government and private security organizations to ensure that the local fishermen are safe on the landing sites OR while on the lake
• We work with local manufacturers/suppliers of fishing gears to make them accessible to the local fisherman at a fare price.
• We lobby government to ensure that fisheries policies and taxes do not affect the local fisherman but rather facilitate coexistence
